3-Step In-person Certification Program

Our in-person certification program has three steps in order to become a certified artitst.

  • Step 1

    Master Core Brow Techniques

    You will get access to our online portal for 8-months where you will learn at your own pace. You have two months to master the first part of the training. This will prepare your for our in-person training on the 3rd month of starting your training. You will learn in-depth knowledge and hands-on skills in the technique you are selecting to learn. Microblading, Ombre Powder Brows, and Combo brows or Machine Hairstrokes. This will ensure can perform each brow technique with precision and confidence.

  • Step 2

    In-person Training

    By the 3rd month you will attend a three day in-person training where you will
learn: Effective color theory, pigment selection, needle configuration, stroke patterns and blending for natural, long-lasting results. How to map and shape brows tailored to each client’s unique facial structure. Learn how to conduct professional client consultations. Learn proper sanitizing and disinfecting guidelines for facility, artist and customer safety. Learn how to build a personal brand, attract clients through social media, and effectively market their services and so much more.

  • Step 3

    Certification Exam & Ongoing Support

    By month 3 to 8 You are required to complete all the modules and assignments within the online platform. Plus take your in person final exam. You must perform 2 models from start to finish in front of Iza to ensure that you are working correctly and all the principles are applied correctly in order to obtain your final certification.

Training Program Overview

  • In-Person Training + Online

    Our in-person training includes three day of intensive training with eight months of online training and mentorship with an options to attend a final exam on a live model on month eight to obtain your final certification at an additional cost.

  • 2 Techniques In one Class

    You will learn two Iza's brow signature techniques step-by-step to master each technique as you go. You will learn Powder hairstrokes and Ombre Powder Brows.

  • Advanced Techniques

    You will learn color theory, pigment selection, needle configuration, stroke patterns and blending for natural, long-lasting results and how to color correct grey, green, red eyebrows like a pro as well as when you should say no.

  • Assignments & Mentorship

    In order to master the techniques you will be learning, you are required to submit assigments in order to move forward with the training progam and complete the course and receive your certificate of completion. We stand behind our course & products. You will have support and mentorship along the way of your new journey.

  • 1:1 Monthly Coaching Call

    You will receive one-on-one monthly coaching calls to help you with your assignments and answer any concerns for 8 months. You will receive lifetime support during your beauty business journey, we are here to help you along the way.

  • Business & Marketing Strategies

    You will learn how to build a personal brand, attract clients through social media, and effectively market their services. Teach the essentials of starting and managing a successful business, including pricing, client retention, and payment processing.

  • Client & Artist Safety

    You will learn on conducting professional client consultations, assessing individual needs, and recommending suitable brow treatments. As well as proper aftercare instructions to ensure optimal healing and retention for clients. Proper sanitizing and disinfecting guidelines for facility, artist and customer safety.

  • Permits & Licenses

    You will learn which how which permits and licenses you need to obtain and how to do it for your beauty business so you can start doing business the right way.

  • Artist Certificate

    You will receive a Certificate upon completion of course, once you have complete all online modules and assignments and have successfully submitted your models and have passed the live examination is when you will receive your certificate of completion.

Jenny Araiza

Hi, I am Jenny Araiza, founder and educator at Iza Makeup. I am so excited to share my knowledge with you.  I started my love for makeup and fashion at an early age. Playing with makeup and putting together outfits, reading up on the latest trends, and watching television shows on the latest makeup routines. Growing up, it was mainly a hobby where I could express myself through other people, which brought joy to my life by seeing how my artwork uplifted their self-esteem and confidence.

Like many of you, I have always had a drive to do more and with an entrepreneurial mentality I opened a small beauty business in 2008, as a professional certified makeup artist which landed me editorial and commercial work that allowed me to work with well-known brands like Cover Girl and Revlon, and many more. In 2012 my online boutique transitioned into a front store, and in 2018 I became certified Microblading Artist with one of the Best Academy’s in the World, that changed my life. Fast forward to now, I have 10 years of experience in the beauty industry, 5 years of experience in the PMU industry, with over 10 certificates & known as a Royal artist with Phi Academy in Phishading, recognizing my work as perfection. In addition, I am also an AAM Board Certified.

Along my journey I have met so many people that wanted to learn how to do the things that I was and currently are doing and creating. I have mentored and helped other people start a business. With my courses,  I hope that I get to help you change your life for the best, like this industry did for me.

FAQ

  • Does this course take 8-months to complete?

    No, our course is designed to be completed at your own pace within 8 motns. You will have the option to attend a in-person 3-day class, that will grant you access to our online platform where you will continue your education at your own pace by completing modules and homework to advance to the next module and get full certification once you complete all the modules.

  • Is there a live examination in order to get certified?

    The inperson training includes a final exam on month 3 & 8. If you opted for online training only we have an option for you to come into our studio and perform your models under our supervision at an additional cost of $800.00. You should be on your last module and ready to perform a live procedure from start to finish on your own model in front of Jenny. This allows us to ensure you are knowledgeable and capable of executing a procedure to our standard of excellence. You are able to extend access to our online platform if you happened to not complete all modules on time for an additional rate.

  • Do I need to have a Cosmetology or Esthetician license?

    Depending on where you live, you will need a body art practitioner license, Blood borne pathogens certificate, plus our 3-in-1 certificate to be able to work as a permanent makeup artist. We will go over this in our course in the business section.

  • Are the material included in the cost of the course?

    A kit is included when you opt-in for the in-person training with kit. This kit includes a kit with all the material you will need to practice and submit your homework. In addition, it is includes tools for your firsts clients. However, the online training program alone does not include a kit but we will provide you will all the resources you need to obtain the materials on your own.
